My buddy brought his B5 S4 out of hibernation tonight (this car does not see Minnesota winters) since his B7 A4 was totaled by a very poor driver in a G37.
This B5 moves quickly, stage III with all the goodies.

Idgi, why buy an audi and never let it see snow. I thought that's what they're there for? Btw I love that color.

That's what his winter beater B7 A4 2.0T was for. That thing hooned hard.

I work at a BMW dealership and we were washing all the gross salt and dirt from the day's drive off.

I'm sorry, it's looks like a well done car and all but Stage III (or Stage anything for that matter) doesn't mean shit to me. You (and others who such terms) are saying things without actually saying anything.

K04 turbos, upgraded injectors (they're pretty big can't recall exact size), bigger MAF, fully custom exhaust, engine management, bunch of little things like diverter valves and seals, piping, gaskets, it's not my car so I can't recall everything.
Makes in the neighborhood of 380-400AWHP.
Stages are a tuner thing, pretty commonly understood upgrade paths.

Stage # = what level of tune that car has achieved. Stage 1 = typically some mild bolt ons, and possibly an ECU reflash. Usually not much past intake/cat-back exhaust. Stage 2 is where you start to get into the little odds and ends you need to make the big power. Stage 3+ varies even more from car to car but can involve things like bigger turbos, a much higher flow fuel system, camshafts, etc....
I do agree on one thing - OP should've listed the company that car went through as each tuner house has different definitions on what each stage means. Even with the same car, sometimes.

I don't know enough about it, like I said, I drive a Forester, the black one behind it.

It all varies from car to car, not just stage 3 and above. I get that it's progressive as the numbers increase, that obvious. That's why those stage # terms are useless unless you are exactly in the know on exactly who did the car. They are complete bullshit that don't impress anyone other than fanboys of the particular car referenced.
A brief list of major mods and/or a power/torque number is a much more useful descriptor in general.

That's what I was looking for and now I am appropriately impressed. Cool car.
In understand the stages but their meanings vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and even from tuner to tuner. A brief list of major mods and/or a power/torque figure like you just provided is a much more useful descriptor. Thank you.

Yeah after hours in the shop is pretty fun, we all bring in our cars and just shoot the shit and hang out for an hour or so every night

My understanding of this car's mods beyond what he has told me is: Because Racecar.

Wednesday is open shop until as long as you dare stay in the shop! It's nice, I have access to a lift and a shop full of tools any day of the week and a touchless car wash all for free.

Are you a tech? (Dumb question, you probably are)
I would love to work at a BMW dealership. It would make all the time I spend learning/looking at BMW's worth it haha.

Nah haha, I'm only 19, I just work some remedial service drive job. Might as well have been since all I did with my E30 was work on making it run every time I broke something.

Is it part time? If I could work at BMW after my classes that would be awesome.

It can be part time. Right now I work like 20-25 hours a week but in the summer I can work as much as I want and right now I can work as little as I want. It's very flexible.

All I do is wash cars right now. But that's because in the car wash I can change my hours to literally whatever I want. In the summer I work as a greeter/runner so I check in customer cars, go get customer cars when they come to pick them up, check in/out loaners. It's pretty easy and the pay is good.
